Chased time for dollars as an overworked laborer and personal trainer, now … ACN Regional Vice President and Circle of Champions Member
Married with a 1-year-old son and living with his in-laws, Domo Kovacevic knew something had to change in his life. As a young man, he had tried college and failed his first year twice. He worked six years as a laborer in his father’s construction company but was overcome with the negative environment. And he found himself working as a personal trainer, where he was sweating 80 to 90 hours a week with no time left for family. Even with the long hours, Domo was forced to sell his house to pay off debt.
Soon, a conversation with a man at the gym changed his life. The man approached Domo because his brother had just purchased Domo’s house. Domo knew the man for his long workouts and fancy cars, and he wanted to know what occupation afforded the gentleman such time freedom and luxury. When he asked, the man said he got paid a percentage of people's phone bills all over the world.
After hearing that and seeing a one-page overview on the ACN Opportunity, Domo wanted in. "I gave all my clients away, and instead of working 80 to 90 hours a week, I ended up only working 30 to 35 hours a week," Domo said. "Another child came into our lives, and when that happened, I realized the value of this company, being able to spend time with my family and really watching my kids grow up."
Domo saw ACN as an opportunity to achieve something great and make up for all the bad choices he made growing up. "I wanted my dad to see me as a success before he died," he said. Today, Domo’s life has changed tremendously. Instead of vacationing once every three years, Domo enjoys three a year with his wife and two children. When he’s not vacationing, he’s teaching others how to achieve their dreams.
"Even though I loved making a difference and helping people as a personal trainer, I didn’t like the lifestyle I acquired," he said. "Now, with ACN, I can still help people make a difference, but the lifestyle is extraordinary."
